I don't have much time for a long post but after the Habs loss in game 2 against the Flyers, I have to agree with Carbo that I think they actually played better in that loss than in the win in Game 1. I do wonder however what in Blue Blazes is Smolinski doing on the ice in a 5 on 3? I do see his benefit to the team on other situations, don't get me wrong, but his shot is weaker than Tostitos Salsa.
The upside going into game 3 in Philly is that I have no doubt in Prices ability to bounce back after a mediocre performance. Woot!
And oh YES- heavy props to my friend Angus whom I convinced he was not a true fan unless he shaved a Mohawk which he promptly agreed to, a move that I believe contributed directly to the Habs second goal on Saturday. (Seriously I have just clicked off the clipper and they scored.) Nice one Angus!
