So Baseball's Hall of Fame has forced former Expo Andre Dawson to wear an expo cap when he's inducted in July and he will appear with one on his Cooperstown plaque.

Dawson has always been my favorite Expo.

He was a pleasure to watch and deal with in his 11 years in Montreal.

Those who listen regularly to the morning show know I was always in favor of his induction.

I would argue until the end with those who would diminish his career based on a few post season at bats.

I don't understand why some feel the need to denigrate him to try and prove a point, that perhaps their opinion means more than everyone elses and thus is the true definition of Hawks career.

Some have started calling it - "The Hall of very good"

Shame...Dawson was GREAT!

I so looked forward to my first ever visit to Cooperstown,

to watch a second Expo cap be enshrined with the great Hawk underneath it.

Dawson told a Chicago radio station that he would have preferred a Cub hat, that Chicago is really where he became a Hall Of Famer.

Really!

Go Ahead Hawk, be a Cub.

I'm not sure I want to be there anymore.

I think I'll wait for your buddy Tim Raines.
